About the Tournament
The Hope Classic was created around family, faith, and giving back — bringing anglers together to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital while doing what we all love most: fishing. Whether you're fishing for the win, for the cause, or for the experience, this is a tournament that truly matters.
Every angler who competes in the Hope Classic is also raising money for families who need it most. St. Jude leads the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Tournament Day: Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Rock Lane Resort on Table Rock Lake, Indian Point, MO. There is also a Friday Night Kickoff on May 8 at Extreme Outdoors (below Ulrich Marine) in Branson West, MO — free dinner, a St. Jude Mission Moment, and the boat giveaway drawing.
4:00–6:00 PM — Registration & Fundraising Check-In
6:00–7:00 PM — Free Dinner for all anglers
7:00–7:30 PM — Hope Classic Mission Moment & St. Jude Speaker
7:30 PM — Boat Giveaway Drawing
Please drive only — do not bring your boat to Friday night's event. Parking is very limited and there is no room for trailered rigs. Friday night attendance is not required to fish the tournament, but you must be present at the drawing to win the boat.
6:00 AM — Boat checks begin at Rock Lane Resort
7:00 AM — Launch
Launch order is determined by team fundraising totals — the highest fundraising team launches first. All anglers must return by the announced check-in time. Late return results in disqualification.
The entry fee is $250 per team. Each team must also raise a minimum of $250 for St. Jude through an official fundraising page to be eligible to compete.
Registration is a two-step process:
Step 1: Register your team through Fishing Chaos
Step 2: Set up your St. Jude fundraising page
Both steps must be completed to be fully registered. Registration is open through 6:00 PM on May 8, 2026.
All individuals 18 years of age or older with a paid entry fee are eligible. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A team may consist of 1, 2, or 3 anglers per boat.
For every $250 your team raises for St. Jude, you earn one entry into the boat drawing. The more you raise, the better your odds. The drawing takes place at the Friday Night Kickoff on May 8 at 7:30 PM. You must be present at the drawing to win.
Launch order on tournament day is determined by your team's fundraising total — the highest fundraising team launches first. The sooner you start fundraising, the better your position on launch day.
100% of all funds raised go directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Donations are not designated to any individual patient, patient family, or specific department — funds support St. Jude's lifesaving mission as a whole.
5-fish team limit. Largemouth, Smallmouth, Spotted, and Mean Mouth Bass all count. All bass must be 15 inches or longer — any short fish brought to the scales results in disqualification. At no time shall a team possess more than five fish.
Artificial lures and pork-style baits only — no live bait and no "A" rigs. All bass must be caught on rod and reel. Only one rod per angler in the water at a time. No trolling. Contestants may not depart the boat to land fish.
A dead fish results in a 1-pound penalty per fish. No culling of dead fish is allowed.
Fishing is permitted anywhere on the lake not deemed off-limits by the Corps of Engineers or any state or federal agency — and within 50 yards of another competitor who is anchored with trolling motor up. No fishing around gas docks. The tournament director will announce any additional off-limits areas before the event.
100% payout of all entry fees to the top 20% of the field. Prize packs are awarded beyond the cash payout. Payout checks will be issued Tuesday, May 12 after required paperwork is completed on site (Winners Agreement, W-9, and copy of driver's license). All ties are broken by earliest entry.
All boats must have required U.S. Coast Guard safety equipment, a working kill switch, an operational bilge pump, and a working aerated livewell big enough for a limit of bass. Boat owners must carry at least $100,000 in boating liability insurance — proof may be requested. Life jackets and kill switch lanyards must be worn any time the combustion engine is running above idle.
